Ninja DualZone Air Fryer, 8 Qt, 6-in-1, Grey, DZ801 | Air fry, broil, roast, bake, reheat, dehydrate, 2x4 Qt zones, Smart Finish, Match Cook

The overwhelming theme across reviews is daily reliance and satisfaction, with users describing the DualZone as the most used appliance in the kitchen and reporting it cooks two items at once at different temperatures without issue. Owners repeatedly praise how it crisps fries, chicken, and skin beautifully with little oil , and many say it has replaced their regular oven almost entirely . The build quality also earns praise, with several long-term owners noting units still going strong after 4-7 years of near-daily use .

The most common complaints center on cleaning and durability of the nonstick coating. Multiple users mention baked-on grease and flaking nonstick coating over time , while others call cleanup a genuine hassle despite the results being worth it . Noise is another recurring gripe, with reports of it being extremely loud, with an annoying beep that can't be turned off . A smaller but notable subset experienced outright failures, describing units that stopped working within a couple of years , sometimes just after the warranty period.

Size and footprint come up often too — this is a large, heavy appliance, and while many appreciate the space-saving flip-up design, others find it massive and hard to hide on the counter . It's best suited for households needing to cook substantial meals at once, with fans noting it can roast a whole chicken or feed a family of four , while smaller households find the dual baskets convenient for portioning meals for two to three people .

On value, opinions are mixed but lean positive. Many describe it as the best value for the money and pretty affordable for what it offers , while a smaller group feels it's overpriced or expensive based on the name alone . Several longtime users say they'd buy the same one again without hesitation , reinforcing a sense of brand loyalty even among those who acknowledge the price tag.

A standout theme is the dual zone functionality itself, repeatedly called a genuine game-changer for meal prep efficiency, letting people run two different foods simultaneously and have them finish together . Some users also highlight Ninja's customer service, noting the company replaced a defective unit without hassle , though this contrasts with others who felt unsupported after their unit failed post-warranty .

Overall, the DualZone DZ801 is described by the vast majority as a workhorse appliance that earns its counter space, with users saying it's one of the best purchases they've made , even as a consistent minority flag noise, cleaning difficulty, and occasional early failures as real drawbacks to weigh.
